Would we humans realise it, if we get boiled?
Dear Professor Spolsky, thank you so very much for your exceptional work and for sharing it with humanity. The importance of your work cannot be stressed out enough.
What you have scientifically proven is that stress changes the brain structures. And you could examine this, as you are a watcher and not an involved one.
So, if the population of humans raises constantly, and the conditions on the planet in terms of food supply, climate changes, space, workplace pressure are getting worse and worse, the amount of stress globally will raise as well dramatically.
As you have clearly proven, this will cause changes in our brains. As we are directly involved in this case, we will not realise these changes and the resulting limitations of our capabilities of understanding. So, we are the frog in the cold water that gets heated up.
How can we raise the alarm about that and educate humanity about this self-caused stress environment?
The results that stress is causing does not distinguish in any way in type or wealth of the humans - it affects the entire human race.
How do we find the suitable type of poisoned meat?

Thank You, Dr. Sapolsky
We need this information in the trauma recovery community. Thank you for sharing your work. In my personal recovery experience (PTSD-20 years) it's finally sinking in that the psychological injury of trauma, disrupts the nervous system-impairs memory integration-and keeps us rooted in an experience of Fight or Flight, until we find way to work through the trauma experience to resolution, and restoration of the spirit inside of us that is life.
Your work, and your gracious gift of sharing like this, played a significant role in helping me to heal. I want you to know, I'm paying the gift forward, sharing the work wherever I can.
